Jeena Health Project works with South Asian women around issues of health and well being.
Jeena Health Project’s aim is to ensure that information on health issues relevant to South Asian women is culturally sensitive, up-to-date and effective.
The project is accessible by South Asian women of all ages who need information on specific health issues, or alternatively need one - to - one support.
Our Development Worker, is fluent in both English, Urdu and Punjabi.
Advice and Information on:
• Breast Screening
• Contraception
• Healthy Eating
• One to One support
Project Jeena supports young Asian women who are worried about pregnancy, contraception, parenting, as well as offering support to their partners or families.
Our Development Worker will provide confidential basic advice and counselling, identify and access appropriate community services such as parent education, drop-ins, and one-to-one support. They will have access to benefits, education and housing information and create opportunities to network with others in a similar circumstances, if necessary.
If you are concerned about pregnancy, contraception, pregnant, a young parent, anxious, aged 19 or under, needing, we can offer help and advice to assist you to make informed choices about your future.
