 We offer a wide range of employment and volunteering opportunities for people. No matter what your qualifications has there is usually an opportunity for you to assist BHA improve lives and futures for diverse communities. We firmly believe everyone can contribute to making a fairer and more equitable society for Black and Ethnic Minority people.
However, even if there is not an suitable employment vacancy when you visit the site, there are many other types of opportunities to work with BHA. Many volunteers have gone on to secure jobs in the organisation, because they have dedicated time and enthusiasm to particular aspects of our service, and gained valuable skills, experience and knowledge. From working alongside project workers with client groups such as Young people, Refugees and Asylum seekers, and South Asian women to more administrative and strategic roles, including Finance and IT, PR and Marketing, the volunteering possibilities are extensive.
This means there is something for everyone. BHA is committed to reflect the local communities it serves. To this end, it actively encourages applications from a range of backgrounds, regardless of gender, age, religion or race to apply for jobs or volunteering opportunities.
